The collections of the Boucher de Perthes Museum are presented in one of the oldest monumental ensembles in Abbeville: the belfry dating from 1209, one of the oldest in France, registered on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. The tour offers testimonies of the rich archaeological past of the Somme, but also a collection of high quality works of art, among which the medieval Picardy sculpture and the Flemish art are the main sections.
