Château d’Eaucourt
I am passionate about medieval history and I love to welcome people to the ruined castles of Eaucourt and Picquigny. There are lots of organised activities, workshops and reconstitutions. To see the children's eyes sparkle is my greatest reward!!
This castle is a listed historical monument and scene of enjoyable activities based on the work and daily lives of 14th century master-builders.
About
At the heart of the medieval site, discover the medieval artsans and builders as well as soldiers. become fully involved in your visit as you become acquainted with stonemasonry, archway bonding, the art of line-drawing, lifting, ironworks and even carpentry. To finish off, shoot with the crossbow and find out about the soldiers' equipment.
