The Boucher-de-Perthes museum is housed in one of Abbeville's oldest buildings, the belfry dating from 1209 (one of the oldest in France). Collections include many objects from the rich archaeological heritage of the Somme and some outstanding examples of medieval Picardy sculpture.
The Boucher de Perthes-Manessier Belfry Museum is currently closed for renovation and extension work.
