Eglise du Saint-Sépulcre et Vitraux Manessier

The 11th century collegiate church of Saint-Sépulcre stands in the historic centre of Abbeville's old town. In 1982 the Inspecteur des Monuments Historiques commissioned stained glass windows from Alfred MANESSIER, a local artist who often painted the Baie de Somme...

The church of Saint-Sépulcre, built in the 15th century, is now a listed Historical building. Repair work had to be carried out after it was partly destroyed in 1940. Alfred Manessier, a local artist, created the remarkable modern stained glass windows in the church, inspired by the light of the Baie de Somme.
