Museum dedicated to the Battle of Crécy (1346), one of the most famous episodes in what historians call "the Hundred Years war" (1337-1453).
Crécy-en-Ponthieu is steeped in history. It has a museum dedicated to the Battle of Crécy (1346), fought between the Kings of France and England, at the start of what was to be a very long conflict: the Hundred Years war. Part of the museum is given over to local archaeological discoveries. Displayed in glass cases they help us picture daily life in the Middle Ages.
