Crypte et Collégiale de Longpré-les-Corps-Saints

The history of the crypt and collegiate church can explain the origin of the name "Longpré Les Corps Saints".

Below the curved vaults, circa 1190, can be seen a vertical tombstone. It's the cenotaph of the founder of this collegiate church, Aléaume de Fontaine, Lord of Longpré. The crypt also houses a monumental carved scene of the entombment of Christ, dating from the 16th century.
